Upstream Field Delivery Projects including Ancillary works, Phase 1, Sustain Phase, Collaborative Well Delivery and Field Delivery Improvement works over a 5-year period.

Tallai was engaged through CXC and Origin Energy to manage various aspects of the Field Delivery work including ancillary works, and delivery of the construction works ensuring a successful handover to Operations, these works was undertaken on several upstream CSG APLNG projects in South East Queensland.

Tallai was engaged through CXC and Origin Energy to manage various aspects of the Field Delivery work including ancillary works, and delivery of the construction works ensuring a successful handover to Operations, these works was undertaken on several upstream CSG APLNG projects in South East Queensland.

Initially on the ancillary works packages which were:

  • 500-person camp semi-permanent (Condabri)
  • 500-person camp semi-permanent (Reedy Creek)
  • 200-person permanent camp extension (Spring Gully)
  • 80-person permanent camp extension(Reedy Creek west)
  • 3 x 100-person services and office buildings
  • Over 8ha of laydown area and workshops, and compounds

Then through the first 3 Phases, known as Phase One, Sustain Phase and Collaborative Well Delivery:

  • Providing Project Management Services to ensure successful completion of the work being undertaken by CPB Contractors (Leighton Contractors).
  • The introduction of Tallai key people at the right level to work with and assist CPB was key along with introduction of a Governance System to ensure success.
  • These key changes led to a remarkable turn around and from the project being over 6 months behind schedule enabled the team to finish 4 months ahead of schedule and under budget.
  • Managed the delivery of over 1000 wells along with all the associated infrastructure such as well head facilities, gatherings lines and HV power and fibre optic communications.
